The University of Ilorin athletics team won 4 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals at the just concluded Ibadan South West Relay Athletics Championship held at the University Stadium, Ibadan, between Thursday (August 29, 2024) and Saturday (August 31, 2024).
A statement issued by the Director of Sports, Prof. T. O. Ibraheem, a copy of which was made available to UNILORIN Bulletin, explained that the UNILORIN team participated in and won Gold and Silver in100 metres; -Silver and Bronze in 200 meters; Gold in 4x100meters Men; Gold in 4×400 meters mixed relay; and 100meters Men.
Prof. Ibraheem thanked the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, for his continuous support.
He assured the Vice Chancellor that the University would continue to make him and the nation proud in sports.
